Dr. Aniruddha Bose qualified from St. Xaviers Collegiate School and won the National Scholarship and Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Scholarship. He graduated in medicine from Medical College, Calcutta. After initial training in General Surgery he migrated to United Kingdom.
In United Kingdom, after completing FRCS and completing his training in General Surgery, he took up Plastic Surgery as a career.
With sixteen years of experience in Plastic Surgery he did his Registrar jobs in famous centers as Queens Medical Centre, Nottingaham City Hospital,Nottingham and Charing Cross Hospital, London. He completed his Senior Registrar training from Frenchay Hospital, Bristol and Regional Burns Centre at Pinderfields Hospital. He also specialised in hand surgery as a Senior Registrar from the internationally famous hand centre - Pulvertaft Hand Centre.
He has worked as a Consultant in Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Norwich Group of Hospitals. He practiced as a Consultant in Harley Street at the same time holding Consultant Appointments at Highgate Hospital, London and Cambridge Private Hospital, Cambridge. For a brief span he has worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Kuwait catering to the Cosmetic Surgery needs of the Middle East.
His special interests are in Cosmetic Surgery. In addition to routine cosmetic surgery he is specially trained in Aesthetic Maxillofacial Surgery and Endoscopic Cosmetic Surgery.
He is a fellow of International Society for Burn Injuries, Royal Society of Medicine (Plastic Surgery Section), International College of Surgeons. He is a member of British Medical Association, The Association of Surgeons of India, British Society for Surgery of the Hand, British Burns Association, Craniofacial Society of Great Britain, European Association for Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery.
